Prof.Guobin Fan

Chinese Academy of Engineering, China


Fan Guobin is a member of the Expert Committee of the Chinese Academy of Engineering Physics, a researcher, leader of the National High-tech Major Task Expert Group, chief designer of the High energy laser system, doctoral supervisor, Executive director of the Optical Society of China, and Vice chairman of the Optical Engineering Society of China. He has been dedicated to high energy laser technology research for an extended period and is recognized as one of the leaders in this field in China. He is responsible for conducting research and managing several national themes and major scientific research topics. His work has resulted in numerous international leading innovations across various fields and has significantly contributed to advancing China's national defense high technology. Additionally, he has published over 40 papers in core journals both domestically and internationally. Furthermore, he has received 2 first prizes for National Science and Technology progress, 2 second prizes, 2 third prizes, 4 first prizes from the army, as well as 15 nationally authorized invention patents. Fan Guobin has also been honored with awards such as the "Qiushi" Outstanding engineering Award from The China Association for Science and Technology;the "Outstanding contribution" award from The National 863 program;the "High-tech equipment construction major contribution Award";the "Zhou Guangzhao Technology Innovation Award", among others. He enjoys special government subsidies from The State Council and was elected an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering in 2017."

Prof. Qi Huang

IEEE FellowIET FellowSouthwest University of Science and Technology, China


Professor Huang currently serves as the Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and President of Southwest University of Science and Technology. He has dedicated his career to researching wide-area measurement and control of power systems, analysis and control of large power grids, intelligent energy information support technology, grid-connected consumption of large-scale multi-renewable energy systems, and tunnel transmission. Professor Huang has led more than 20 national and provincial projects, including those under the national key research and development plan and National Natural Science Foundation.


His contributions have been recognized with numerous awards, including 1 first prize from the China Instrument Society, 1 second prize from the Sichuan Science and Technology Progress Award, and 1 second prize for Excellent Scientific and Technological Achievements from the Ministry of Education. Additionally, he has authored over 300 academic papers (including more than 160 SCI papers), co-authored 2 Wiley-IEEE monographs, obtained more than 100 patents (with over 60 authorized national invention patents), as well as secured a United States patent.

Prof. Simon X. Yang

University of Guelph, Canada


Prof. Simon X. Yang received the B.Sc. degree in engineering physics from Beijing University, China in 1987, the first of two M.Sc.  degrees in biophysics from Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing, China in 1990, the second M.Sc. degree in electrical engineering from the University of Houston, USA in 1996, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical and computer engineering from the University of Alberta, Edmonton, Canada in 1999. Prof. Yang joined the School of Engineering at the University of Guelph, Canada in 1999. Currently he is a Professor and the Head of the Advanced Robotics & Intelligent Systems (ARIS) Laboratory at the University of Guelph in Canada.  Prof. Yang has diversified research expertise. His research interests include intelligent systems, robotics, control systems, sensors and multi-sensor fusion, wireless sensor networks, intelligent communications, intelligent transportation, machine learning, and computational neuroscience. He has published over 550 academic papers, including over 350 journal papers. Prof. Yang he has been very active in professional activities. Prof. Yang has served as the Editor-in-Chief of Intelligence & Robotics, and some other journals; and an Associate Editor of IEEE Transactions on Cybernetics, IEEE Transactions on Artificial Intelligence, and several other journals. He has been involved in the organization of many international conferences.

Prof. Liyi Li

Foreign Member of Russian Academy of Natural Sciences, Harbin Institute of Technology, China


In 2012, Prof. Li was supported by the National Outstanding Youth Fund, and in 2013, he was hired as a Changjiang Scholar by the Ministry of Education. In 2019, he was selected for the National Hundred Million Talents Project. Focusing on the major needs of the country and industry, He has been engaged in long-term research on special motors and special electromagnetic devices. Facing the needs of the chip manufacturing industry, relying on the 02 major scientific and technological special task, his team have solved the core problem of the "bottleneck" of the linear motor in the lithography machine workpiece stage system, which combines high precision and high dynamic characteristics. Prof. Li received 1 second prize of the National Technology Invention Award and 7 provincial and ministerial level awards such as the first prize of the Ministry of Education's Science and Technology Progress Award. He published a total of 328 academic papers, of which 151 were indexed in SCI. More than 80 patents have been authorized, 3 have won silver awards at the Invention Expo, and 10 have been transformed into technology applications in enterprises. Professor Li has undertaken over 30 national and ministerial level important scientific research projects.

IET Fellow, IEEE Senior Member, Foreign Member of Russian Academy of Natural Sciences, Chengdu University of Information Technology, China


Prof. Zhang received his Ph.D. degree in 2005 from Southwest Jiaotong University, Chengdu, China. Now he is a full professor and the Dean of School of Automation, Chengdu University of Information Technology, Chengdu, China. He was a visiting professor in Department of Computer Science, The University of Sheffield, UK, a senior visiting professor at the Department of Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence, Universidad de Sevilla, Spain, and a visiting professor in Department of Chemistry, New York University, USA.


He is the President of International Membrane Computing Society (IMCS), an editorial board member of Axioms and International Journal of Parallel, Emergent and Distributed Systems. He is the co-winner of Grigore Moisil Prize of the Romanian Academy in 2019. He is listed in World’s Top 2% Scientists and in Highly Cited Chinese Researchers by Elsevier. Research areas include artificial intelligence, Intelligent robots, smart grid and intelligent control. He is the author/co-author of more than 200 publications, three monographs, and (lead) guest editor/co-editor of more than 10 volumes/proceedings.

Prof. Shang is the vice president of Southwest University of Science and Technology. 


She has been engaged in the research and teaching of photoelectric sensing and detection technology, terahertz technology, battery management technology and other aspects for a long time. Prof. Lin Chen

Prof. Chen is currently Vice President of Southwest University of Science and Technology.


He has been engaged in the teaching and research of network and information security for a long time. He participated in the development of the first encryption firewall in China. He has presided over more than 30 national and provincial research projects, including 1 national key research project, 4 National 242 information security project and 4 provincial research projects. He has won 2 provincial and ministerial science and technology awards and 2 national invention patents. He has presided over the research and development of the "Mobile storage media Data one-way import system", which has been promoted and applied in more than 40,000 sets in secret-related units and departments. He has participated in the drafting of 2 national standards and published more than 20 academic papers.

Prof. Qiuyue Nie

IEEE Senior Member, winner of the National Natural Science Foundation Outstanding Young Fund, Harbin Institute of Technology, China


Dr. Qiuyue Nie, professor of the School of Electrical Engineering and Automation, Harbin Institute of Technology. She is a winner of the National Natural Science Foundation Outstanding Young Fund, and was selected as the academic leader of the Young Scientist Studio of Harbin Institute of Technology. She received B.Sc. in electronic science and technology (2005) and Ph.D. in plasma physics (2010) at Dalian University of Technology, and a visiting graduate student at Loughborough University, UK, in the period; and then Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Tsinghua University. Her research interests include interactions between plasmas and electromagnetic waves and their applications. Dr. Nie is a senior member of IEEE, committee member of Plasmas & Their Applications Committee and vice chairman of the Youth Working Committee of China Electrotechnical Society. Prof. Qiang Ling

IEEE Senior Member, University of Science and Technology of China, China


Ling Qiang received his bachelor's degree from the Department of Automation of the University of Science and Technology of China in 1997, his master's degree from the Department of Automation of Tsinghua University in 2000, and his doctorate degree from the Department of Electrical Engineering of the University of Notre Dame in 2005.


Current research interests include networked control systems (focusing on feedback packet loss and quantization), image processing, etc. He has published 1 monograph, more than 100 papers, more than 30 authorized invention patents and 4 authorized United States patents. He has won the titles of Overseas High-level Talents of Anhui Province, Lu Jiaxi Young Talents Award of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and New Century Outstanding Talents of the Ministry of Education.

He has presided over more than 120 scientific research projects (including more than 50 at provincial and ministerial level); He won the second Prize of Technical Invention of the Outstanding Achievement Award of Higher Education Institutions of the Ministry of Education in 2017, the Third prize of Beijing Science and Technology in2013, and the third prize of Beijing Science and Technology in 2018. Minina Anastasia Andreevna, Ph.D., assistant professor of the department of information and measurement systems and technologies (iist), vice-rector for international activities, member of the rector's office, member of the academic council, member of the educational methodical commission of the academic council, head of the executive directorate of the top-100 project.


Minina Anastasia Andreevna graduated with honors from st. Petersburg state technical university "leti" in 2009, majoring in "information and measurement systems and technologies". Prof. Zhang is a member of the Chinese Computer Society and vice Chairman of the Natural Language Processing Committee of Sichuan Computer Society. He received his Ph.D. from the Japan Advanced Institute of Science and Technology in Hokuriku, Japan. At present, he is mainly engaged in teaching and research work related to artificial intelligence, and his main research directions are data mining, knowledge engineering, etc. He has published more than 50 papers in many important international conferences and journals such as IEEE Transaction on Big Data, PRICAI, ACML, etc. He has authorized 3 invention patents and registered 12 software Copyrights.

Prof. Zhigui Liu

Professor Liu received his bachelor's degree in Industrial Electrical Automation from Southwest University of Science and Technology (formerly Sichuan Institute of Building Materials Industry) in 1987. In 2001, he graduated from Wuhan University of Technology with a master degree in control theory and Control Engineering. He received his Ph. D. degree in Traffic Information Engineering and Control from Southwest Jiaotong University in 2006.


Research field: Control theory application and automation device research; Industrial control system and embedded system research on chip level; Application research of control system based on machine vision technology; Computer technology and application research.

Mianyang Southwest Automation Research Institute,Sichuan Province, China


He graduated from Beijing Institute of Technology in 1992, majoring in automatic control, and received his master's degree in engineering from Beijing Institute of Technology in 2001. In 2014, he won the special government allowance of The State Council. He has been engaged in the research and development of light weapons equipment information and control technology for a long time. He has undertaken the research and development of a number of major minister-level projects, participated in the organization and completed a number of final assembly type projects, demonstration and verification and pre-research projects as well as basic scientific research projects of Science and Industry Bureau. SN ENGR. Huayi Zhan

Chief Scientist of AI at Changhong Group, Changhong AI Laboratory, China


Dr.Huayi Zhan, a recipient of a doctoral degree in Electrical Engineering from Northwestern University (US), specializes in the research and industrial application of multimodal artificial intelligence technology. With over 20 published papers, including 8 in top conferences and journals such as CVPR, Interspeech, Neurocomputing, and IROS, as well as over 80 patent applications filed, with more than 40 granted patents. He has led or participated in nearly 20 scientific research projects, encompassing national key research and development programs, the national Hegaoji major project, the national 863 program, a project from the National Development and Reform Commission, and two projects from the National Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.


His research achievements have been widely implemented in areas such as industrial visual inspection, smart home appliance voice interaction,and household service robots,resulting in significant economic and social benefits. In recognition of their contributions to science and technology, he was selected for The "Tianfu Qingcheng Plan"as a leading talent in 2022.

Liu Duo, Professor, doctoral supervisor, "Hongshen Outstanding Scholar" of Chongqing University. He was selected as one of the winners of the National Young Talents Program, the winner of Chongqing Outstanding Youth Fund, and the Top Young Talents of Chongqing Talent Program (the first batch). He received his PhD from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University in 2012. His research interests include computer system architecture, new storage architecture and intelligent storage system, new computing architecture and intelligent distributed system, embedded system, Internet of Things system and edge computing. 


He has published more than 100 academic papers in IEEE Trans. On TC, TPDS, TCAD and other international journals and DAC, DATE, ICCD, EMSOFT and other international conferences. He has been cited by Google Academic for 1735 times, and the H-index index is 24.

Prof. En Li

Li En, Ph.D., Institute of Automation, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Researcher of Institute of Automation, Chinese Academy of Sciences. His research interests include special robot technology, intelligent sensing technology, automatic control system. He has won the second prize of Science and Technology of China Machinery Industry in 2008, the second prize of Science and Technology of Beijing in 2009, and the first prize of technology invention of Chinese Association of Automation in 2014. 


His patents include: Multi-axis motion servo control and protection system, field bus-based control system for two-arm line patrol robot, a method of real-time data storage, embedded mining data sub-station, a fiber optic field bus communication system.

Li Qinghua, Professor, doctoral supervisor, Deputy Director of Space Control and Inertial Technology Research Center, School of Astronautics. Research interests: intelligent unmanned system navigation and control, cooperative navigation, magnetic information navigation, inertial navigation and motion control.


Participated in the national "eleventh Five-Year Plan", "Twelfth Five-Year Plan", 973 project and many other vertical projects, participated in and completed more than 20 horizontal scientific research projects, applied for more than 30 patents, published more than 50 papers, won a number of national awards.
